چکیده
Anastomotic leakage is still the most undesirable complication of colorectal surgery. The reported incidence anastomotic after surgery varies from 1.8% to 15.9%. impact increased morbidity, mortality (12–30%), length stay, and cost hospitalization; hence, this should be prevented as much possible.Several studies have shown a correlation between low albumin levels leakage. The Colon Leakage Score (CLS) standard score for predicting leakage, but does not include level parameter despite importance level’s contribution on leakage. Therefore, study sought analyze level, CLS, resection in cancer (CRC) patients at Dr. Hasan Sadikin General Hospital Bandung, Indonesia. This was cross-sectional retrospective analytical medical records CRC over age 18 who underwent intestinal 2016–2020. There were thirty-two with during period, two experienced Correlation analysis showed that coefficient 0.209, while CLS 0.110. no treated Indonesia

Predicting the risk of anastomotic leakage in left-sided colorectal surgery using a Colon Leakage Score.
BACKGROUND Anastomotic leakage following colorectal surgery still occurs all too frequently, and this complication is difficult to predict. A nonfunctional stoma may reduce the risk of clinically relevant leaks but is overtreatment for most patients. More accurate assessments of the risk of anastomotic leakage would be very helpful in tailoring treatment in colorectal surgery. Therefore, a Colo...
متن کاملPrognostic Value of C - reactive Protein and Procalcitonin Levels in Predicting Anastomotic Leakage after Colorectal Resection in Mazandaran Province
Background and purpose: Colorectal resection is used for various diseases and leakage in an anastomosis is one of its complications. Some studies confirmed the predictive effects of C-reactive protein (CRP) and procalcitonin markers leakage in anastomosis. This study aimed to investigate the prognostic value of CRP and procalcitonin in predicting anastomotic leakage in elective colorectal surge...

PURPOSE The aim of the present study was to study whether patients developing anastomotic leakage after colorectal resections for colorectal cancer have laboratory signs of an altered hemostatic balance in the systemic circulation, preoperatively and postoperatively, causing an impaired healing process. METHODS Patients operated on for colorectal cancer were studied. Seventeen consecutive pat...
متن کاملImproved diagnosis and treatment of anastomotic leakage after colorectal surgery.
AIM This study aimed at testing feasibility of a standardised postoperative surveillance protocol to reduce delay in the diagnosis of anastomotic leakage (AL) and, subsequently, mortality. MATERIAL AND METHODS Patient files of patients operated between 1996 and 1999 were reviewed and used as historical controls (n=1066). As a result, a protocol for standardised post-operative surveillance was...
